Wedding season, roughly spring through fall, does the same thing to Saturday nights specifically. Summer overall runs busier across the board with graduations, birthdays and beach trips stacked on top of each other, and holidays like New Year's Eve, the Fourth of July and Halloween weekend book out well ahead of the date itself.
None of that changes the price. It's still a flat $185 an hour with a 3-hour minimum no matter when you book. What changes is availability: on a popular Saturday in April or June, the good time slots simply run out first, so the people who booked early are the ones who get them.
How the deposit locks in your date
A $250 deposit is what actually reserves your date and time slot, and it comes off your total rather than being an extra charge. Until that deposit is down, a date isn't held, it's just a date someone else could still book. If you already know your event date, putting down the deposit early is the single easiest way to guarantee the bus, the time you want, and the hours you need instead of settling for whatever's left.
