Where to go
Ybor City is the obvious anchor for a night out. It's Tampa's historic nightlife district, with 7th Avenue packed wall-to-wall with bars, clubs and late-night food, all within a few blocks of each other. It's an easy place to let the group split up for a bit and regroup at the bus.
Downtown Tampa's Riverwalk is a great daytime-into-evening option, with waterfront bars, restaurants and a view of the water that photographs well for a birthday or graduation group. If your crew wants a change of scenery, South Tampa and Hyde Park bring a more upscale, trendier bar and rooftop scene, and it's a short hop from downtown, so it's easy to add as a second stop without eating up the whole night in transit.
Build it around the occasion
Birthdays work well as a bar-crawl format: start somewhere for dinner or drinks, hit two or three bars in Ybor or SoHo, and let the bus be the party in between so nobody's stuck waiting on a ride or splitting into cars. Graduations and other milestones tend to work better with a mix of daytime and evening stops, since families and mixed-age groups are often along for at least part of it.
